As a desktop wallpaper it works well, you can even download from thier website a tool to use your own video. The app uses resources. The screen saver doesn’t work with El Capitan and there is no useful support on their website.

Ive been looking for an app like this for a long time. Glad I found My Living Desktop. My cats love to watch the screen especially the fish scene. I like the variety of scenes myself like the ocean scenes, the mountain scene, and the beautiful sunset. I highly recommend it! Oh, and my co-workes are envious.

This is a beautiful ap and so easy to use. It is a bit spendy, but then again, I bought it!. I love the ability to choose my mood through the many different scenes. I find myself feeling more relaxed with the sound of the waves or the wind. I also love to use the screensaver functionality. Cheers!! I hope that you will update with more and more scenes as time goes on which would be expected for the price.

You always hope you dont need support but something went wrong during my install on my Mountain Lion Mac. These guys responded very quickly and numerous times until we resolved the issue (even though it was the weekend). I wish more developers were like this. The app is great too BTW.

So after being upset that the App Store version didnt offer the import feature I contacted the developers site. He had explained that the App Store did not approve the import feature. Either way he hooked me up and the app works GREAT!!! Love it! Get it from the original developers site for the same price!

This program is outstanding. It is very relaxing and easy to use. I had a problem and contacted customer support. They solved my problem very quickly. I would recommend this program to anyone.

This application is a very good idea but not implemented very well. The application often interferes with the Desktop interface meaning I can’t interact with certain folders on my desktop when My Living Desktop is on. The interface in the My Living Desktop menu is glitchy and often does not work properly making it difficult to toggle certain scenes on and off. When making a collection the scenes enter the “folder” but also stay on the interface making organization impossible. This is the easiest way to get a video as your desktop but there are also cheaper and more reliable options out there. Do not recommend.
